I've been reading a lot lately and I'm looking for something new. Maybe something that's not too mainstream? I feel like I've already read all the popular ones. Anyone have a favorite book that they think is underrated? I'd love to hear about it :)

I've been buying used books and annotating them in the margins. I mean, underlining passages, writing notes, that kind of thing. It helps me keep track of what I think about the story or arguments. I've had people give me weird looks when they see me doing it, but I don't get why it's a big deal. Do other people do this or am I just being odd?

I've been getting into astrology lately and I'm looking for some reading material. I've heard there are some great books out there that can help me understand the basics. I've tried looking online but there are so many options. Has anyone read any good astrology books for beginners? I'm looking for something that explains the zodiac signs, planets, and houses in a way that's easy to understand.

I just spent the last few hours trying to get into this new novel I picked up, but the writing style is really throwing me off. The author's use of overly complex sentences and constant jumping between different character perspectives is making it hard for me to follow the plot. I've been looking forward to reading this book for weeks, but now I'm starting to think it's just not for me. Has anyone else out there had a similar experience with a book that they were really excited about, only to be let down by the writing style? I'm wondering if I'm just being too picky or if there's something actually wrong with the way this book is written.
