Imagine trying to film a 20-round burst from an AR-15 clone but making it look organic, not just a shaky cam mess.

Specifically, how do you replicate the cadence of a .45 ACP’s kick versus a 9mm’s flatter trajectory? I’m thinking about the way a CZ 75’s slide cycles versus a 1911’s linkless design—should the camera movement reflect that? And for all the Hollywood purists out there: how bad is it when the muzzle rise in a scene doesn’t match the actor’s grip tension?
