i feel like such a noob rn, i was listening to this podcast and i thought it was a new ep but it was actually from like 2 yrs ago lol. i was wondering why they were talking about old news and then i saw the date... tbh im a bit embarrassed, anyone else ever do that?

I'm getting a little tired of the same old true crime podcasts, anyone got a recommendation for something that's actually worth listening to? I've been through all the popular ones and I'm looking for something with a bit more depth, maybe something that covers cases that aren't as well known. I've been listening to this one podcast that covers some really interesting cases, but the production quality is pretty bad, so I'm looking for something that's a bit more polished. Any suggestions?

I've been listening to a lot of podcasts lately and I finally found one that's actually worth my time. It's not about the supernatural or anything, but it's a podcast about the art of storytelling and I find it really interesting. The host is a good speaker and the guests are always insightful. I've been listening to it for a week now and I'm still not tired of it. The production quality is also top notch, which is a big plus for me. I don't know why I'm posting this here, maybe I just wanted to share something that's not paranormal related for a change.

i've been listening to podcasts for a while now and i've gotta say most of them are pretty meh. but i just stumbled upon this one called 'the daily' and it's actually really good. they do deep dives into current events and it's not too sensational or biased. imo it's pretty balanced and informative. anyone else listen to it?

i was listenin to this podcast about bike maintenance and they were talkin about how to properly clean your chain and i realize i've been doin it wrong lol i mean i just use soap and water but apparently thats not enough im gonna try the method they suggested next time tbh its pretty silly that i didnt know this already

I've been listening to true crime podcasts a lot lately, and I have to admit, it's become a bit of a ritual for me to listen to an episode or two before I go to sleep. I know it might sound a little weird, but I find it really interesting and it helps me wind down. But at the same time, I'm wondering if I'm the only one who does this... do you guys do the same thing? Do you find it helps you relax or does it keep you up at night thinking about the cases? I'm curious to know if I'm just a weirdo or if there are others out there who share my fascination with true crime stories.

so i was listening to this true crime podcast the other day and it got me thinking... why do all these podcasts have to have that one annoying host who's just so extra?? like cant they just stick to the facts and not try to be some kinda tv personality?? it's super distracting and takes away from the actual case... anyone else notice this??

I was sure The Daily had about 100 episodes, but when I checked the archive it actually has 400. I was listening to what I thought was the 100th episode and it turned out to be the 200th. I got the number wrong and I’m a bit embarrassed for spreading that. Anyone else miscounted a podcast before? What other shows have you found the episode tally off?
