should i stick with gacha games or switch to battle royales on my phone?

i've been grinding on gacha titles for months but the fps battle royales feel way more fun rn the problem is the micro‑transactions keep draining my wallet in gacha while the battle royales are just ad‑heavy anyone else torn which is actually better for long term enjoyment tbh i feel like i'm just chasing rng lol

update broke my game and i can't fix it

so i just updated this indie title i love, and now it crashes every time i start. devs posted a quick patch but it only works on windows 10, i'm on 11. tried uninstall/reinstall, still same. no support thread, just a forum post asking for help. i feel like i wasted my time. anyone else stuck? what's the workaround? i hate when small devs ignore community.

Garmin 245 pace issues during kayak casting

so i've been using my garmin 245 to track my kayak casting practice and i've noticed it's been misreading my pace. anyone else have this issue? i'm thinking it might have something to do with the way i'm holding the paddle or the watch itself. has anyone found a way to get more accurate readings?

Help: 2024 Pro‑X 6.8’ foam core board's deck wobbles like a cast‑iron pan at high swell??

Been riding the new Pro‑X 2024 6.8’ for a month now. At the 12‑ft reef waves, the deck feels like it’s got a loose rim—think of a skillet that just fell on the floor. The board's rocker is 12°/12°, 2.5″ single fin, fin box looks tight, but the deck just skitters off the rail when the wave hits.

Key details:

  • Board: Pro‑X 2024, 6.8’ foam core
  • Deck: 12°/12° rocker, 2.5″ single fin
  • Problem: deck wobbles/skitters off rail at high swell, feels like a dropped skillet
  • Observations: no visible damage, no cracks, fin box secure
  • Questions: Is this a construction defect? Does it need a different fin setup? Might the alignment be off?

Any ideas? Would love to hear if anyone else’s board feels like this or what a quick fix might be??
