So here's a situation I'm trying to process... Last autumn I commissioned a geometric cable pattern for my upper back, thinking it would translate beautifully as a tattoo...? The artist was patient with my fumbling descriptions, but... I completely forgot how different textile textures look on skin versus fabric. The design was inspired by a macrame project I’d admired—tight, symmetrical knots that flow seamlessly... but on my shoulder, it’s more like a knotted error message. Up close, the lines feel... aggressive? Like a tangled yarn ball someone tried to pass off as art. I panicked at the needle’s first prick but didn’t stop to think how scaling down a 12-inch macrame motif to 4 inches might lose all subtlety. Has anyone here messed up a design by conflating mediums?? I’m considering a cover-up, but now I’m scared the new artist will laugh at my 'textile project gone rogue.'

so i've been working from home a lot and i'm gonna try to claim it on my taxes. is that something u guys do too? or am i gonna get audited lol. i put in a separate room for my 'office' and i'm pretty sure its deductible. how do u all handle this?

i'm having a bit of a creative block with my tattoo art lately 🤕. i'll be brainstorming for hours and nothing seems to really come together. maybe it's just me, but i feel like i'm stuck in this loop of the same ideas over and over. does anyone else experience this? like, you're trying to come up with something unique, but your brain just keeps going back to the same old patterns 🌀. i've been trying to shake things up by looking at different types of art, like the knots and patterns you guys use in macrame 🌿, but so far nothing's really sparked any new ideas. any tips or advice would be super appreciated 🙏

just got the new leaf and the charging port freezes after the OTA. unplug, wait ten minutes, plug back – still nothing. dealer calls it a "software glitch" like that excuses it. anyone else dealt with this? feels like a cheap stunt, not the future i bought into...

i was in class rn and thought maybe the rhythm of knotting could help with timing for kicks but the instructor said it was too distracting tbh i think it could improve focus anyone else tried this weird combo lol
