35 rounds down... empty click. Not a good week.

Hit the range Tuesday expecting smooth .22 LR at lunch. Poured a 35-round fresh box into my S&W M&P — click. Checked my wrist timer: 35 empty hits. Reloaded a fresh magazine from Monday? Same nonsense. Finally, I pry that second canister of Federal 80's I was saving for target day. Nope. Both new and leftover were empty shellcases... as if the mason jar had ghost powdery hands that poured bullets but forgot bullets? Maybe the manufacturer sent dummy cases for quality testing in a cruel twist?? No, the box clearly says '.177 cal'? Wait, my eyes read .177??? So now I’m holding 3 boxes of 147 rounds and absolutely zero .22 ammo worth squat? What’s a .22 even these days—your cat's hobby? And my 922r box of bulk CCI cases? Just as empty. This is worse than buying 3D printed rifles that require me to download a license just after I buy... oh hold on. No wait—I’ll take the 22LR joke over that any damn moment... but my 99-point cleaning kit’s waiting, I’m already 40 minutes in, so I’ll take either, really.
