Help: how do classic raid gear (ilvl 411) vs 7.x raid gear (ilvl 550) stack for a hunter's dps??
tbh im stuck deciding which raid gear is better for a hunter when comparing classic (411 ilvl) vs 7.x (550 ilvl)?? i figured hit is less important in 7.x but crit/haste play a big role
- classic ilvl 411 gear: crit rating ~1k, hit ~400, mastery ~200
- 7.x ilvl 550 gear: crit rating ~1.2k, haste ~500, mastery ~250
my theory is the higher crit + mastery in 7.x pushes dps up ~10-15% but the classic gear still feels better in solo content where hit matters more
does anyone have real numbers or experiences to back it up? want to see raw stats or a quick benchmark
p.s im playing the same hunter spec, so let’s keep the comparison clean
also, does the different talent points in classic vs 7.x change how these gear builds work? need to know if the classic gear still holds up in 7.x zones
