Help: Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus keeps pausing for random 12 seconds on rice mode?

so i'm late at night on a random weekday and i cooked this basic 2 lb white rice on my new duo evo plus and the pot gets all animated in the display thing showing 100% battery???? it's flashing red like mad and then it JUST hits 100%% and then suddenly pauses on 12:00 minutes??? after 12:05 i get stuck w a vague reset on the internal cycle screen!! omg it looks like the water level sensor glitch? the manual has this quote about "you may see delay time" but they dont say why exactly i can't avoid that random 12 second halt! i tweaked my power level down to 600W but still the same!! i'm crazy if there's some hardware problem i can detect or do a quick diagnostic with my stove so my sleep may be saved?? have others run into this weird timed pause so often with the new duo? i kinda blame them all now :/) is there an reset mode, a firmware patch, or simply my dish too thick causing pressure lag??? so I'd love suggestions to reset that app in real life??
