Help: Why does my Audacity 3.0.3 export WAV with 24-bit loss when using 48k sample rate?

i just recorded a 5 min interview on my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 with a Rode NT-USB mic and exported to WAV from Audacity 3.0.3 at 48kHz 24-bit but the resulting file is 16-bit

tbh i checked the export dialog and it shows 24-bit but the file properties say 16-bit

rn i tried exporting with the 'Export as WAV (Microsoft)' option and still 16-bit

any ideas why this happens i also tried the 'Export as WAV (WAV/PCM)' and same thing

i found an error code in the console: AUD-ERR-001: bit depth mismatch

i thought it was a bug but maybe it's a setting i missed

i tried changing the project rate to 44.1k and it worked but i need 48k for my podcast

any tips maybe a plugin or a registry tweak

thanks

Frustrating esports match

I feel like I just had the worst esports match ever. My team was doing great, we were all working together, and then our internet just decides to lag
