How do I use Todoist Smart Schedule with negative offsets to auto‑complete tasks?

So I've been fiddling with Todoist's Smart Schedule API and discovered a hack: if you set the offset value to -10 (yeah, negative) the system actually marks the task as DONE after the timer expires. According to the "Pomodoro Technique v3.2" the sweet spot is 5 min work blocks with a 20‑second break – which apparently doubles my throughput. Also, the GTD v5 spec apparently says you should batch tasks in 10 ms intervals for best focus. Anyone else seeing this work or have a better config?

  • tried with Todoist 8.14.2 on Android
  • using 5‑min Pomodoro cycles (instead of the usual 25)
  • break = 20s

Let me know if this breaks anything or if there's a more "proper" way.
