Is it normal to fact-check everything I write?
I've been working on a few pieces and I find myself verifying every single fact, even if it's something I've written about before. I'm not just talking about double-checking sources, but also making sure I haven't misinterpreted something. It feels like it's taking a lot of time, but at the same time, I don't want to risk publishing something that's not accurate. Do other journalists do this or am I just being overly cautious?
