Just saw a new paper on deep ocean heat uptake – thoughts?

I was skimming the latest Nature Climate Change article on deep ocean heat uptake while waiting for my kid's swim lesson. The authors estimate an extra 0.3 °C of heat stored below 2000 m over the past decade, which seems to line up with the satellite gravimetry data we've been seeing. It makes me wonder how much of the surface warming budget we're still missing. Anyone else noticed similar signals in the ARGO data, or have a different take?
