Overrated destinations
I've been thinking, some of the most popular travel spots are just not worth the hype. I mean, take Paris for example. Everyone says it's the city of love and all that, but when I went there last year, it was just crowded and overpriced. The Eiffel Tower was nice, I guess, but it's not like it's the only beautiful landmark in the world. And don't even get me started on the food - I had better croissants at a bakery back home. What's the point of traveling to a place that's just going to be filled with tourists and overpriced everything? I'd rather go somewhere off the beaten path and actually experience the local culture.
