why does blockchain tech still struggle with interoperability between btc and eth
idk i was reading about the latest advancements in blockchain development and i cant help but think we're still stuck in the past somehow.. like i get it, btc and eth are different chains with different use cases, but dont we want seamless interaction between them?? like what's the point of having all these fancy smart contracts on eth if we cant easily transfer value from btc to eth?? i'm no expert but it seems like we're still struggling with the whole 'one chain to rule them all' mentality.. i mean take polkadot for example, their whole thing is about interoperability between different chains, but even they cant seem to fully deliver on that promise.. idk maybe i'm just tired rn and not thinking clearly, but it feels like we're taking two steps forward and one step back in the blockchain world
