Why Is My Card Full the Second I Find a Great Spot?

Seriously, does everyone here deal with this? I’m in some wild location—perfect light, killer composition, no people around—and the buffer’s screaming ‘buffer full’ or my 128GB card has three minutes of space left. All the sudden I’m deleting ‘garbage practice shots’ from my phone (real trash, I swear) just to squeeze an extra shot of the glacier.

You know the one: you finally get a clean foreground, the alpenglow hits, and you’ve got a folder of half-decent street photos from two weeks ago that you forgot to upload. I’m not carrying 20 spare SD cards for a weekend trip but this feels like it’s happening every other day now.

Your turn—most times you’ve survived with low space on a single shoot? You’d think cloud auto-upload would solve this but nope, 0% in Nepal and whatever, I don’t wanna talk about it.
