Why does modern poetry feel less meaningful to some readers??
I keep seeing modern poetry compared to older works... Many say it’s ‘accessible’ but I don’t see the same emotional stakes. Is this a valid criticism or a generational bias?? I’m not seeing clear answers and need more perspectives. What’s the deal with the perceived decline in emotional weight??
