minimalism is annoying rn
i just got rid of a bunch of stuff and now my room feels kinda empty... i know thats the point of minimalism but its weird to not have all my old junk lying around lol... does anyone else feel like this when they declutter??
Why does 'less is more' feel like a lie sometimes???
tbh i just spent 2 hours trying to declutter my closet and now i’m just scrolling etsy for 'minimalist' decor because my hands are empty and my brain is screaming for dopamine hits???. like how do people actually stick to this shit?? i donated 3 boxes of stuff but then bought a new lamp bc the 'aesthetic' demanded it... am i just bad at minimalism or is it a scam to make us feel guilty about existing????
my minimalism fail
so i just realized i've been holding onto a bunch of old boxes from stuff i bought years ago. like, what's the point of getting rid of all the extra stuff if i'm just gonna keep the packaging? feels like i missed the whole point of minimalism. anyone else have any similar moments where they just felt like they were doing it all wrong?
