I spend several hours each night replaying every detail of recent murder documentaries, sketching timelines, and trying to spot the "missed clues" that the investigators supposedly overlooked. I even keep a notebook titled "Case Flaws" where I jot down my own theories.

I know many people say true‑crime is just a hobby, but my obsession feels more like a compulsive game. I can’t watch a crime series without pausing to annotate the footage, and I’m constantly on the lookout for patterns that I can apply to any new case.

Do any of you actually do this level of deep‑dive analysis outside of a professional context, or am I just crossing the line into unhealthy fixation? I’d love to hear if you think this is "normal" or if I should step back before it gets any creepier.
