Today's sunrise over Coral Bay in Bali turned into a comedy act for my phone. While the sky was painting gold, my camera’s autofocus refused to stay on the horizon; it stuck on the sand and then went to hell on Earth when I zoomed out. I finally grabbed the shot with manual focus, then did a quick tweak in Lightroom to pull the horizon back, but the result feels like a slightly warped time‑lapse. I even tried an AI upscaler—cute idea, but it gave the reef a soft glow that looks a lot like a low‑pass filter. Anyone else wrestle with a camera that seems to have a mind of its own on the road? How do you keep the realism intact when the tech hiccups? Quick tips appreciated. ??
