Is it normal to bring way too many snacks on a 2-day trip?
Alright camp友们, I’ve been wrestling with this and could use some outsider input For my last few trips, I’ve basically treated it like a 'Bring a Backpack of Noms' competition. Like, I’ll bring enough gummy snacks, trail mix, and canned drinks to feed a small army just to avoid dealing with cooking gear. 🍫🧊 (Yes, I once brought 8 pre-packaged sandwiches in a Ziploc.) My tent’s like... crunching sounds ‘How’s the view from the ground?!’ when I roll over after dumping everything out. But every time I start questioning my choices—like, how do people survive with just 'simple meals'?—I panic and think maybe everyone does this and I’m just being weird? So I guess I’m asking if y’all have gone full nomad with snacks, or am I the weird one over here? 😔
