Do you guys diversify across sectors?
I've been investing for a while now and I'm starting to wonder if my strategy is normal... I mean, I've got a bunch of stocks in tech, but not much elsewhere. Do most people spread it out more?? I feel like I'm putting all my eggs in one basket... Maybe I'm just being paranoid??
dividend investing vs growth investing
tbh im kinda stuck on this debate rn, ive been reading alot about different investing strategies and i cant decide between dividend investing and growth investing, i like the idea of getting a steady stream of income from dividends but at the same time i dont want to miss out on potential high returns from growth stocks, has anyone else had tomake this decision and whats your experience been like
implications of a flat yield curve on stock market volatility tbh
idk just been thinking about the recent eco trends and how they might affect the stock mkt rn. with interest rates low and the yield curve gettin pretty flat (imo), i wonder if we should expect more volatility in the mkt. mean, according to the expectations theory, a flat yield curve supposedly indicates that investors expect the economy to slow down. but what does that really mean for stock prices? anyone got any thoughts on this?
