Is there a standard early opening for Civ VI Red Death?
Been grinding Red Death nights and I always drop a settler on the coast, scout right after, then rush a few farms. Lately I’ve seen some streamers start with a builder and a campus instead. Is there a widely‑accepted opening, or does it just boil down to the map and personal playstyle? Anyone else feel stuck choosing the first few turns?
Finally mastered the Turtle Defense in Stellaris
I've been playing Stellaris for months and I just had a major breakthrough. I've been struggling with the Turtle Defense achievement, which requires you to defend a planet from an onslaught of hostile alien species. I tried various strategies, from building a massive fleet to terraforming the planet, but nothing seemed to work. Last night, I decided to take a different approach. I focused on building a strong ground army, with a mix of melee and ranged units. I also made sure to research key technologies that would give me an edge in combat. It paid off - I was able to repel the invaders and secure the planet. Has anyone else had a similar experience with this achievement? What strategies worked for you?
