tattoo art fail
so i was talkin to a tattoo artist last week and i mentioned that i loved the style of traditional japanese tattoos rn... but like, i think i totally messed up lol. i was sayin how much i loved the whole 'less is more' approach and how i thought it was super cool that they use so much empty space... and the artist just kinda gives me this weird look and tells me thats actually more of a chinese thing 🙈 im pretty embarrassing cuz i had no idea. anyone else ever get their tattoo art history mixed up? i feel like im still learnin so much about all this
tattoo art frustration
I'm so frustrated with my latest tattoo design 🤕. i spent hours brainstorming and sketching, but the artist just didn't get it 🎨. The lines are all wrong and the color palette is off 🌈. I feel like I've been trying to get this piece just right for months, and it's just not happening 😔. Maybe I'm just being too picky, but I know what I want and it's not this 🤷♀️. Has anyone else out there had a similar experience with tattoo art? 💬

do you guys get stuck on designs?
i'm having a bit of a creative block with my tattoo art lately 🤕. i'll be brainstorming for hours and nothing seems to really come together. maybe it's just me, but i feel like i'm stuck in this loop of the same ideas over and over. does anyone else experience this? like, you're trying to come up with something unique, but your brain just keeps going back to the same old patterns 🌀. i've been trying to shake things up by looking at different types of art, like the knots and patterns you guys use in macrame 🌿, but so far nothing's really sparked any new ideas. any tips or advice would be super appreciated 🙏
tattoo trends
I'm getting a little tired of seeing the same old tattoo designs everywhere. Recently I saw someone with a sleeve that was just a bunch of randomsymbols and patterns thrown together... what's the point of that? Doesn't anyone care about meaningful art anymore? Or is it just about having something to show off??
