#weed control

i've been trying to get rid of these weeds in my garden for weeks now and nothing seems to work. i've tried pulling them out by hand, using weed killer, and even covering the soil with plastic sheets. but they just keep coming back. anyone have any tips on how to get rid of them for good? im starting to think i should just give up and start over

I'm having a hard time getting rid of weeds in my garden... I feel like I'm constantly pulling them out, but they just keep coming back?? I've tried using mulch and landscaping fabric, but it's not making a huge difference. Maybe I'm just not doing it right? How do you guys keep your gardens weed-free?

so i put down this weed barrier fabric in my garden and it was supposed to be this miracle worker, no more weeds. well, i just spent the last hour pulling weeds out from under it. i mean, i know its not supposed to be 100% effective but come on. the roots just grew right under it. has anyone else had any luck with these things? i followed the instructions and everything
