tbh just ran the spike sorting script again and the thresholding finally picks up the action potentials on the 5ch board rn i've been stuck on that for like a week it felt like a big win but i know it's a tiny step in the grand scheme tbh the noise was lower than expected and the peaks popped up cleanly no more false positives now i'm going to push the parameters a bit more to see if it scales to 12ch

so ive been getting back into my collectibles and i've noticed i'm still falling into some old bad habits. anyone have advice on how to avoid overconditioning or overrestoring? specifically, i'm looking for tips on what not to do when it comes to cleaning and preserving older items. tbh, i'd love to hear about any personal experiences or horror stories

so im wondering if anyone else has noticed this but my vintage star wars figs dont seem to be worth as much as they used to be i mean i know the market fluctuates but i had a near mint 1978 luke skywalker fig that i was hoping to sell for a pretty penny but all the collectors im talking to are lowballing me like its nothing rn i also have a bunch of other rare ones like the double telescoping obi wan and the rocket firing bobafett but no one seems to care about those anymore either is it just me or has the market really dropped off like this
