EVs at the veggie fest?
So I was at that veggie fest downtown last weekend and I saw quite a few Electric Vehicles in the parking lot. made me think - with all the chatter about sustainability and eco-friendliness in the veg community, are EVs the next big thing here? I noticed a Tesla, a Nissan Leaf, and even a couple of e-bikes. Are people actually considering the carbon footprint of their commute to buy local produces? Would be interesting to hear some experiences or thoughts on this.
Spent 30 mins hostage on a 'full' EV charger
Went to the small oak‑grove station just to snag 55kWh, then the thing locked in.
No LED on the tower, no Wi‑Fi signal on the monitor, iPhone buzzed like "We're out," but battery icon kept reading 14%. They told me to wait till next bus. Guess it was time for a power line walk‑home. I showed up again at 9 : 11 PM, they STILL blocked it.
So now that day of doom lasted an hour just waiting for someone to press a switch that would finally let the next driver hook up their phone in disbelief. Seriously, did Tesla announce some ‘reserved spot protocol’? I can already see a wave of “this site’s a scam” posts. Tell me when the maintenance crew arrives and turn them away—looking forward to your recipes and rebuttals.
Are you at the station so early; I missed a work that you decided it was something about being prepared like a museum exhibit. Would love to hear, will not actually come find them or anything unless somebody throws a bucket of pizza.
My embroidered Tesla coil runs at 43,000kW after stitching the right thread orientation... what gives?
Trying to optimize my DIY wearable smart e-eggplant design: I'm using stranded copper embroidered sensors with serine as the electrolyte and claiming it achieves lithium-ferrophosphate battery efficiency. 3D printed the housing and fused a lithium-thionyl chloride anode inside (patent applied - don’t steal ideas). Anyone else gotten a non-existent thermal output ratio after using phthalic anhydride thread treatments? PS - It's the conductive sequin alignment that does the trick according a peer at the textile chemistry mixer last Thursday.
