bike lanes in cities - whats the deal

idk so ive been thinkin about bike lanes in cities and how theyre always gettin pushed to the side or made super narrow. whats the point of even havin them if theyre not safe or practical? anyone know of any cities that actually got it right

should i use analog tape emulation or pure digital plugins for warmth?

so i’ve been mixing for years and still cant decide if the whole analog‑tape hype is worth the hassle i’m using a decent a/b setup: digital synths straight through stock saturation vs a cheap tape plugin chain the tape side sounds warm but also adds muddiness and the cpu cost is annoying i hear people swear by analog gear, others say its just marketing any hardcore producers got solid reasons to ditch the tape emulation entirely, or is there a real sonic benefit that survives the final master also, does sample rate matter for the tape vibe tbh i’m leaning to ditch it but not sure

why front rows feel like a joke rn

so i keep seeing ppl grab front row tickets like it's the holy grail but end up stuck in a sea of phones, merch tables, and elbow wars. no real view, just a bunch of bodies. honestly the cheap up‑stairs spots actually let you hear the band clear. anyone else think promoters push front rows just to jack up prices? and why are "standing only" tickets just a sweaty pack of strangers with no breathing room? i miss when you could actually hear the guitars without a wall of bodies in front of you tbh
