just had a birding fail
i was tryin to id a bird in my backyard and i swear i saw a robin but it was way too big and the beak was all wrong lol turns out it was a dove or somethin
is it weird i only watch birds in my backyard?
i just set up a feeder and binoculars and thats where i do most of my birding. never really gone on a big expedition or anything. just me, my yard, and whatever shows up. tbh seems easier to spot em there too
saw some stuff
idk i dont get why ppl still use playbacks to attract birds rn. seen some guys doing it in the park and it just seems kinda lazy. ive been out a few times this week and had some decent sightings without it. does anyone else think its kinda overused or am i just being stubborn
