Why does my EVP recorder pick up static only after midnight?
I've been doing a few nights of EVP in my old attic. The mic works fine during the day, but once the clock hits 12am I get this weird buzzing/static that drowns everything out. I've tried different batteries, repositioned the mic, even swapped cables, but it keeps happening. Anyone experienced something similar? Could it be a residual energy thing or just my equipment acting up?? I feel kinda uneasy when it starts... Any tips would be appreciated 🙏??
