I just had the most frustrating experience at a supposedly 'fine dining' restaurant in our area. I'm still fuming about it. They claimed to have a garden-to-table menu, but what I got was a salad with wilted lettuce and a 'signature' sauce that tasted like it came from a bottle. The service was slow and unfriendly, and when I politely mentioned that my dish wasn't up to par, the waiter acted like I was being unreasonable. Has anyone else had a similar experience with fine dining establishments that claim to source from local gardens?
