i was scrolling through news about the new james webb successor telescope rn and it got me wondering how ancient peoples might have recorded those same distant objects, i saw a bronze age slab with weird star patterns and thought what if they were actually looking at a supernova we only see with modern tech tbh, anyone got cool examples of archaic sky observations
