how does free verse hold up against strict meter in conveying emotional intensity
i'm curious about whether free verse lets emotions pour out more honestly or if strict meter actually sharpens the impact tbh i'm torn between the two but prefer more structure imo what about the readers? does strict meter help them remember words or does free verse feel like a breathing space for feelings? want to hear your thoughts or experiences maybe plz upvote if you disagree so i can understand better 😅
