Is frequent reflashing of firmware for testing normal in embedded systems?
I've been working on a project where I'm constantly updating the firmware to test new features and I'm starting to feel like I'm doing something wrong. Every few hours, I'm erasing the flash, writing new firmware, and debugging. My colleagues seem to think it's no big deal, but I'm worried about the longevity of the chips. Am I just being paranoid or is there a point where reflashing becomes a concern?
