ngl i feel like when we travel, we always get drawn into these super touristy areas and honestly, i think theyre kinda overrated lol. imo, the best experiences come from just wandering around and finding random local spots. maybe thats just me tho. i was in paris last year and instead of going to the eiffel tower, i ended up getting lost in this adorable little neighborhood and had the best croissants of my life. has anyone else had similar experiences? rn im thinking of planning a trip to japan and im trying to decide whether to stick to the usual destinations or venture out a bit
