Thought record trick finally worked on my anxiety

I decided to test a classic CBT exercise—thought recording—for a whole week. Every night I wrote down any anxiety‑triggering thought, the evidence supporting it, and a balanced counter. I rated my anxiety on a 0‑10 scale after each entry. At the end of the week the average rating fell from 7.6 to 5.2. The numbers alone are encouraging, but the biggest win was noticing that I could challenge the "always" and "never" language I used. I'm wondering if anyone else has tracked it quantitatively or has tips for keeping the logs consistent 😊
