I’m starting a small collection of 12‑inch vinyl and want something that’s solid, not overhyped, and stays relevant for years. My budget is about $30 per record. I’m looking for classic rock, folk, or early alternative – nothing too obscure. I’m skeptical of reissues that are just repressed masters with no real improvement and of buying from big chains that often sell records in questionable condition.
