Why TCI's Vessel of Nascency is Overvalued in Modern

I've been thinking about the latest TCI set and noticed how Vessel of Nascency has become a staple in nearly every Modern deck that uses blue or white. While it's undeniably efficient, I think its value is overinflated. The card's ability to tutor for a creature and then recur it via blink effects (looking at you, Moment of Triumph or Rekindling) creates a metagame where players feel forced to include multiple copies. This isn't just about power level—it's about format health. For example, Izzet Prowess decks now run 3-4 Vessels alongside 2-3 blink spells, making their game plan predictable and oppressive. Even control decks are cutting maindeck slots for it, which dilutes their consistency. Meanwhile, cards like Lurking Gloom or Drowned Catacomb get ignored despite being format staples. Is this synergy worth the homogenization? What do others think about this card's role in the meta?

Frustrating esports match

I feel like I just had the worst esports match ever. My team was doing great, we were all working together, and then our internet just decides to lag
