Why the Pomodoro myth is killing my math grades

Spent the whole Saturday cranking out 25‑minute intervals for a calculus chapter, thinking I'd finally beat that procrastination monster Guess what? After four cycles I was more confused than before – the brain just can't lock onto complex integrals in tiny bursts. The timer pinged, I forced a break, and by the time I came back the whole thing felt stale. My notes are a mess, the formulas are half‑written, and I still haven't solved the main problem. Anyone else find that the whole “short sprints = productivity” hype is just a gimmick for people who can't handle sustained focus? I'm sick of the buzzword advice and need real tactics that actually work for deep work, not this pseudo‑productivity nonsense.
