which rep scheme bumps max bench on a 2023 power bar – 5x5 vs 8x3 vs 10x2?
ngl quick poll rn – wanna see what lifts guys actually stick to for raw bench gains
option a: 5 sets of 5 reps @ 75% 1rm (classic 5x5) option b: 8 sets of 3 reps @ 80% 1rm (8x3 power) option c: 10 sets of 2 reps @ 85% 1rm (10x2 strict)
do you swear by one? drop your preferred scheme and why (e.g., bar flex, grip width, partials) tbh
