#camera issues

so i was taking this cool sunset pic rn and the camera locked focus on a branch in the foreground?? like whyyy?? i switched to manual but it was too late the shot was already blurry... and now im second guessing every setting lol. anyone else deal with this bs??

so i was out trying to capture some shots of the milky way last night and my camera battery died like 20 mins in lol i had a spare but it was all the way back in my car and i didnt wanna lose my spot so i just sat there in the dark for a bit waiting for my eyes to adjust again maybe im just lazy but it was pretty annoying tbh anyone else have to deal with that kinda stuff when theyre out shooting?
