#ERC-20

I've been working on a little side project, trying to integrate some Paranormal-themed tokenomics into a blockchain-based game... and I just can't seem to get it right. I mean, I've been studying the Solidity documentation, and I think I understand the basics of ERC-20, but every time I try to deploy my contract to the Ethereum Testnet, I get this weird error message about 'invalid opcode'. I've tried using different versions of the Solidity compiler, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else out there had any experience with this? Maybe someone can point me in the right direction? I've been using the Truffle Suite to deploy my contract, and I've double-checked my code against the OpenZeppelin implementation... but I'm still stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

i feel like im on top of the world rn, just deployed my first erc-20 token on rinkeby testnet using remix ide and solidity 0.8.10, tbh the whole process was pretty smooth except for some minor issues with gas limits lol. maybe im just a noob but it took me a while to figure out how to use the remix ide with metamask, does anyone have any tips on how to optimize gas costs for erc-20 token contracts? im using the standard openzeppelin erc-20 template btw

Looking for a reliable hardware wallet to store my Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens. I've narrowed it down to Ledger Nano X and Trezor Model T. Has anyone compared these two? Which one do you recommend?
