I just tried to play this new indie game that I've been waiting for, and the launch process was so frustrating. The game itself is really interesting, but the developer's website had a weird payment system that took me like 10 minutes to figure out. And then, after I finally bought the game, the download link didn't work. I had to email the developer to get a working link. It's just annoying because I was really excited to play the game and this whole process put a damper on my enthusiasm. Has anyone else had a similar experience with indie game launches?

i was trying to get into this one indie game but the controls are all wonky. feels like the dev put all this effort into the art and story but forgot about gameplay 🙃. anyone else have this problem with indie games? sometimes i feel like they're more about the idea than the actual experience
