should i stick with gacha games or switch to battle royales on my phone?
i've been grinding on gacha titles for months but the fps battle royales feel way more fun rn the problem is the micro‑transactions keep draining my wallet in gacha while the battle royales are just ad‑heavy anyone else torn which is actually better for long term enjoyment tbh i feel like i'm just chasing rng lol
Admit I totally misread that app update lol
I’ve been bragging about finally getting the new garden-themed level in Plant Quest for weeks… then realized I was actually looking at the screenshot from the official iOS version, not the Android build I’m stuck on 😅 Turns out the feature never made it to my device because I was on an older OS, and I kept assuming everyone else had it too. I felt kinda dumb when a friend called me out on it—guess I was just eager to feel like I was finally getting my "green thumb" in a game! Maybe I should actually check the version number before boasting… Anyone else had a similar mix‑up where you thought you were ahead of the curve but were just looking at the wrong screen?? 🤦♂️🌱
Mobile gaming performance on lower end devices getting ruined
I've been playing a lot of mobile games lately and I'm getting super frustrated with how poorly they run on my phone. I'm not asking for 4K graphics or anything crazy, just smooth gameplay and no lag. But no, I'm stuck with choppy frames and unresponsive controls. It's like they're intentionally trying to make it hard for us to enjoy games on lower-end devices. I recently upgraded my storage and RAM but that didn't help much. Feels like devs optimize for flagships and leave the rest behind
Struggling with mobile gaming performance on lower end devices
I've been playing a lot of mobile games lately and I've noticed that some of them are super laggy on my phone, which is a couple years old. I'm wondering if there are any general tips or tricks for improving performance on lower end devices. I've tried closing other apps and even restarting my phone, but it doesn't seem to make a huge difference. Are there any specific settings or features I should be looking for in games to help them run smoother?
mobile gaming fail
so i was playing this new mobile game while camping last weekend and i thought i was doing great, got to level 10 without spending a dime. turns out i was playing the easy mode the whole time, didn't even realize it. felt like a total noob when i found out. has anyone else ever done something like that?
Which mobile game deserves the hype: Genshin Impact or Diablo Immortal?
Can't decide which one is actually worth the time. Genshin's gorgeous world and endless grind vs. Diablo's fast‑paced loot runs. Both have paid‑for shortcuts, but which one feels like a real game and not just a cash‑grab? Anyone got strong feelings or data on retention and content depth?
Just spilled water on my phone during a raid
So I was in the middle of a raid in this mobile game I'm really into, and I was simultaneously trying to water my succulents. Next thing I know, I've spilled an entire glass of water all over my phone. Luckily it's water-resistant, but now I've got to deal with the hassle of cleaning it up and hoping nothing got damaged. Anyone else out there have to juggle gaming and plant care at the same time? It's like my two interests are at war with each other. The game just got a big update and I'm itching to get back in, but I guess I'll have to wait until I'm sure my phone is safe to use.
new mobile game gives me the chills but no winning power
so i keep playing rn the boss level is totally impossible and keeps resetting no clue if it's a bug or my phone overheats like the devs forgot how battery drains on real phones this feels like spam on a cheap touchscreen i just want smooth gameplay not a lag flood is this normal?? tbh i only wanna spend a few seconds to get through it
