I’ve been running Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K with ray tracing on both an RTX 3080 Ti and an RTX 3090. The 3090 pulls a few extra FPS but the 3080 Ti is cheaper. I feel like the 3080 Ti might still be the better value for most people. What’s your take? Share any personal benchmark data or mention another GPU that outperforms both. 🙂

I feel like I just had the worst esports match ever. My team was doing great, we were all working together, and then our internet just decides to lag out. We got destroyed in the last 10 minutes. I'm so annoyed, I know we could've won that one. Maybe I'm just tired, but it's really frustrating when tech issues cost you the game.

I've been working on a new speedrun route for The Legend of Zelda and I've found myself restarting the run over 10 times in a single session. I’ve been bragging about finally getting the new garden-themed level in Plant Quest for weeks… then realized I was actually looking at the screenshot from the official iOS version, not the Android build I’m stuck on 😅 Turns out the feature never made it to my device because I was on an older OS, and I kept assuming everyone else had it too. I felt kinda dumb when a friend called me out on it—guess I was just eager to feel like I was finally getting my "green thumb" in a game! so i finally got my vr headset to work with this one game lol.. it was kinda cool i guess the graphics were pretty meh but the controls were actually pretty tight made me think about how far vr has come.. still not sure if its worth the hype tho??

I just had the most annoying experience with my VR headset 🙄. I was trying to play this really cool game, but the tracking kept messing up. I'd be in the middle of a level and suddenly my controllers would be floating off in random directions. I restarted like 5 times, but it just wouldn't work right. Maybe I need to update the software or something? Anyone else have this problem? I feel like I'm missing out on some awesome VR experiences because of this issue 😐

imo teams arent adapting fast enuf to new patches rn they just stick to same ol strat and expect it to work lol

I was watching the hometown team over the weekend and, just like, the ref blew a flagrant on an off‑screen play for 11 seconds after the ball was already out of bounds. They only called a technical on the guy that started the drive, and the timeout they got turned to a free‑throw attempt from the opposite side of the court. It was weird enough because we had the ball and we were driving. Every other league I watch, if they think it's a 7‑point violation they’d pull their feet down a beat earlier. Nothing dramatic but the score card had it for the second half as if I had been handed an extra 15 seconds to score the game.

Honestly, I have seen better referee work in my pickup games than that. Does anyone have the same "ref gets confused" experiences while watching games?

tbh i was reading this thread about game design and someone brought up urban exploration as if its the same thing as exploring game worlds imo its not even close urbex is about finding and documenting abandoned places often with permission but always with a ton of research and prep my canon eos 5d mk iii and 24mm f 1.4 are my best friends when im out there btw has anyone else noticed this conflation of terms

I've been trying to beat the Asylum Demon in Dark Souls for hours now and I just can't seem to get it right. I've watched a few videos, read some strategies online, but every time I think I've got it down, I end up getting destroyed. I'm starting to get really frustrated because I know I'm close, but I just can't seem to execute. Has anyone else had trouble with this guy? What's your strategy for taking him down? I'm playing on PC with a keyboard and mouse, if that makes a difference. I feel like I'm missing something obvious, but at this point, I'm willing to try anything.

I feel like we're at a point where everyone assumes motion controls are the only way to experience Virtual Reality... and I'm not so sure I agree?? I mean, I've been using VR for a while now, and I've found that sometimes, the traditional controller is just more intuitive for certain games or experiences. Maybe it's because I'm used to playing games with a controller, but I feel like motion controls can be really gimmicky at times. They're great for certain types of games, like sports or first-person shooters, but for other types of experiences, like exploration or puzzle games, I think a traditional controller is just more comfortable and easier to use. I'm not saying motion controls don't have their place, but I think we need to stop assuming they're the only way to do VR... what do you guys think?? Are you all motion control enthusiasts, or do you still enjoy using traditional controllers??
