Should I refinance my mortgage now or wait for rates to drop?
I’ve been watching rates for months. My current 4.75% fixed ends in six months, and the bank offered a 5.2% 30‑year. I could refinance now, but I’m not sure if rates will dip soon. My credit score is 720, I have about $30k equity. Any thoughts on whether it’s worth locking in a higher rate now versus waiting? I’m nervous about paying more interest…??
