Just cracked the code on old-school bonsai tricks
so i was messing with some wiring techniques today and it hit me — bonsai masters back in the day were basically magic hands 🤯 like how the hell did they shape these trees without modern tools? it’s like sleight of hand but with branches lol. found an old japanese manual from the 1800s that explains these super subtle bending methods. feels like cheating but in the best way. bonus: my shari branch now looks like a gnarled wizard staff. anyone else have historical hacks that blew your mind?
