I'm getting a bit frustrated with my 2-year-old's behavior lately. We do the usual - setting boundaries, positive reinforcement, time-outs - but some days it feels like nothing's working. So, I was at the park with my 4‑year‑old and pointed at a big, smooth stone and said, "Look, that's a monster that lives under the bed." He started calling me the monster hunter, and now he thinks every rock is a monster. I tried to explain that it's just a rock, but he keeps insisting it's a monster. I feel like I need to go back to the basics of geology, but I'm not sure if I should keep telling him about igneous rocks or just stop. Anyone else had a similar moment?
