I told my kid a rock was a monster under the bed and now he's convinced I'm a monster hunter
So, I was at the park with my 4‑year‑old and pointed at a big, smooth stone and said, "Look, that's a monster that lives under the bed." He started calling me the monster hunter, and now he thinks every rock is a monster. I tried to explain that it's just a rock, but he keeps insisting it's a monster. I feel like I need to go back to the basics of geology, but I'm not sure if I should keep telling him about igneous rocks or just stop. Anyone else had a similar moment?
