Do you guys make to-do lists the night before?

I feel like I'm always wondering if I'm doing this whole productivity thing right. So, I've been making these to-do lists every night before bed, trying to get a head start on the next day. It's become kind of a ritual for me - I'll sit down with a cup of tea, go over what I need to get done, and prioritize my tasks. But sometimes I'm not sure if it's really helping or if I'm just stressing myself out by thinking about work before I even go to sleep. Maybe it's a bit of both? I'd love to hear from you guys - do you make to-do lists the night before, or do you have a different routine that works for you? 🤔

Digital Tools Failing to Simplify My Time Tracking

I feel like I'm chasing my own tail these days with productivity apps. Tonight, I decided to track my tasks with this sleek new task manager app everyone's raving about. The idea was noble—streamline workflows, integrate with calendar and email, you name it. But by 7 PM, I had over an hour lost sorting out why my scheduled tasks weren't showing up, syncing correctly, or respecting my manually set deadlines.

Maybe it's just me, but trying to juggle multiple systems (calendar, email, slack, etc.) all asking for the same data in different formats starts to feel like a full-time job instead of a tool. I found myself spending way more time configuring the app than actually using it. And let’s be real—when did time management apps become the thing that steal your time?

Has anyone else felt this paradox? I’m curious how others keep things simple without getting sucked into a rabbit hole of digital housekeeping. Maybe I just need to pick one basic app and stick with it instead of trying to merge the tech stacks... but I feel ready to toss my laptop into a lake.
