dark ages werent that dark??
so i've been reading a lot about the dark ages and im starting to think they werent as bad as everyone says... like yes theres not a lot of records from back then but does that really mean nothing was happening?? i mean we know monasteries were still producing manuscripts and thats some Pretty advanced stuff for the time... what if the darkness is just a lack of info??
finally cracked the dark ages myth
so after digging through a bunch of old monastic scribbles i actually proved the whole "dark ages" hype is nonsense..
people love saying everything fell apart 500-800 CE but the trade routes were humming and literacy was spiking in places i never expected.
anyone else still buying that oversimplified narrative? 🤔
let's smash the hype.
